At AHA, we believe every student is uniquely created with gifts, interests, and talents worth discovering and developing. Our specials and electives are an important part of nurturing the whole student. They give students space to explore, create, lead, serve, and grow while discovering more about themselves and the gifts God has entrusted to them.
Elementary Specials
Our elementary students participate in Music, Art, P.E., and Smart Lab for 30 minutes each week. These classes give students opportunities to be creative, active, curious, and hands-on while developing skills that complement their academic learning.
Whether they are creating, moving, making music, or solving problems, students are encouraged to explore their interests and develop the gifts God has given them.
Middle & High School Electives
As students grow, so do their opportunities. Our Middle and high school students choose from a variety of electives designed to connect with their interests, talents, and individual goals. These courses allow students to pursue areas they are passionate about while developing practical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and independence.
We want students to have opportunities, not only to discover what they enjoy, but also to recognize how their unique abilities can be used with purpose.
